Sofie ("Sef") Kapur is a New York City based singer and songwriter known for captivating audiences with her rich voice, catchy lyrics and expressive style.
She is presently working on writing, performing and recording her new solo project Not Your Mother.

Sofie began performing at an early age and has been active in NYC’s independent music scene for over 15 years. Her most recent endeavor was as the lead vocalist and lyricist for Strange Loops, the band she formed in 2016.
Having performed in many of the city’s most legendary rock venues, Sofie has built a reputation for delivering her powerful vocals with vibrant energy in a style all her own during live shows. As a recording artist, she has been featured as the lead vocalist on six commercial record releases (see discography).
